Katrina (Kathy) Cassel is the author of ten books for Christian preteens and girls. Reaching children comes naturally to Kathy who has a B.S. degree in elementary education from Grace College, Winona Lake, Indiana, and a M.Ed. with a reading specialty from The University of North Dakota. She has received Disneyís iParenting Media Award.

Besides working with children of all ages in a variety of educational and church settings, she and her husband, a retired USAF member, have eight children (four sons, four daughters), five of whom are adopted, three of those from Haiti. They live in Panama City, FL.

Kathyís newest book, Promises for Godís Princesses, Tyndale Kids, lets girls know that living as Godís princess has nothing to do with wearing a tiara or ball gown but has everything to do being created in an amazing and unique way by our Heavenly King.

Her books, The Christian Girlís Guide and Just for Me series (Legacy Press) are interactive books that use quizzes, puzzles, crafts, stories and journaling to help girls learn about God, the Bible, and themselves.

The Middle School Survival Manual, Concordia Publishing House, provides information, tips, strategies and quizzes to help middle school students navigate these sometimes confusing years.

The One Year Devotions for Girls Starring Women of the Bible and The One Year Book of Bible Trivia for Kids, Tyndale, provide 365 devotions to make the Bible relevant to everyday lives.
